Our Process
Each piece begins with a white bone china blank. The blanks are all sourced from The Potteries in Stoke on Trent. The design is then drawn, inked and painted by hand onto the piece. Next it is fired overnight at 800 degrees in the kilns here in the studio. In the firing process the glaze and the paint fuse together to become permanent. This whole process is repeated as many times as necessary to build up the depth of colour. Finally they are signed and are ready for sale.
